PointStake 1.4 is a plug-in written for AutoCAD versions 2000-2008.
Versions 2006 through 2008 (including Civil 3d) are officially
supported, but PointStake will run in any version of AutoCAD that
provides proper VBA support. PointStake does not run on AutoCAD lite!
As a hosted solution integrated directly into AutoCAD, PointStake
requires very little additional resources - if your system can
comfortably run AutoCAD, adding PointStake shouldn't pose any
problems. PointStake can rapidly move and scale your drawings so that
paper north is aligned with job north, and the scale is adjusted to
real world units (feet or meters) in a way that points exported to a
data collector will be the same distance apart on the collector as
they are where the field engineer is walking the site. This means more
accuracy, less time, and far less mistakes when staking and isolating
locations than traditional methods. The PointStake interface is easy
to use, intuitive, very fast, and can have a drawing processed and be
exporting points in minutes!
